The Lawson Charitable Foundation was created in 2021 by Cathy and Tom Lawson. The mission of the Foundation is to help those that are working hard to help themselves and others.
Homes For Our Troops
The Lawson Charitable Foundation is proud to support initiatives that honor and empower those who have served our country and fought for our freedom. One way we do this is by partnering with organizations like Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), which builds and donates specially adapted, mortgage-free homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans, enabling them to live more independently and rebuild their lives.
Through a grant from the Lawson Charitable Foundation, a specially adapted home was completed for Marine Sgt. Craig Brady and his family in Holden, MA. This custom-built, fully accessible home provides Sgt. Brady with a safe, functional space tailored to his unique needs. With thoughtful adaptations that remove everyday obstacles, the home allows him to live with greater independence, comfort, and peace of mind.
The impact of this project goes beyond the walls of the home. It offers Sgt. Brady and his family stability, security, and the opportunity to plan for the future with confidence. By easing financial burdens and creating a supportive living environment, this home represents a fresh start and a chance to thrive.
“At the Lawson Charitable Foundation, it’s profoundly meaningful to see our support help provide Sgt. Brady with a safe, fully accessible home. This project exemplifies our commitment to honoring and supporting veterans. We are proud to contribute to making a lasting difference in the lives of those who have selflessly sacrificed for our freedom.”
