At the Lawson Charitable Foundation, we are driven by a commitment to provide stability and hope to families facing life’s toughest challenges. One way we are able to do this is by partnering with organizations like the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF), which is dedicated to easing the financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. Together, we work to ensure that families like Zoe’s receive the critical support they need during their most difficult moments.

At just 2 years old, Zoe was diagnosed with cancer. Her family’s world was upended as her mother left her job to care for Zoe and manage the demands of treatment. The emotional toll was immense — and so was the financial strain. Everyday bills didn’t pause for cancer, and expenses for groceries, utilities, and other essentials quickly became overwhelming.

Through the combined support of the Lawson Charitable Foundation, and other community supporters, JAF is able to ensure families like Zoe’s receive the essential resources they need to maintain stability. For Zoe’s family, this meant access to food and the ability to keep their home warm and safe — relieving just one of the many burdens they face during an incredibly challenging time.

By partnering with JAF, the Lawson Charitable Foundation extends vital assistance for housing, utilities, food, and transportation. This support empowers families to focus on their loved ones’ health, not on how they will pay the next bill. Our shared mission with JAF is a powerful reminder that no family should face cancer alone.
